The high-efficiency series-counterflow low temperature chilled water HVAC system will be unlike traditional self-contained packaged HVAC systems. Compared to the conventional HVAC system, the high-efficiency chilled water system will consume 31.7% less energy.

The ECM "smart motor" technology increases the efficiency of hundreds of fractional horsepower motors within the fan-powered terminal devices (FPTD) from less than 25% to higher than 70%.
