  • 11' floor-to-ceiling, low-e energy efficient vision glass provides abundant natural light on every floor, providing 90% of occupied space with direct lines of sight to the outdoors.

  • 1812 features 9-foot finished ceilings and a virtually column-free, efficient floor plate design. 1812 can accommodate up to 129 square feet per employee, which is 10 to 28 percent more efficient than similar offerings.

  • Low-flow plumbing fixtures have been installed throughout the building, resulting in 40 percent less water usage. This equates to saving more than one million gallons of domestic water per year.

  • 1812 is powered by clean and renewable energy, including wind and solar power.

  • Lighting systems include high-efficiency lamp and electronic technology, reducing energy costs and improving lighting levels.

  • The underground parking garage has 15 stations for charging electric cars, as well as preferred parking spots for hybrid vehicles.

  • Direct, onsite access to Rosslyn Metro Station with Blue, Orange, and Silver Line service plus numerous ART and MetroBus lines.

  • Secure onsite bike storage and tenant shower facilities are provided within the building.

  • The outside air filtration systems is a two-state system. The first stage of filtration is a 25 percent efficient particulate filter while the second stage is an 85 to 90 percent high-efficency particulate filter.

  • All systems are controlled by a digital electronic building management system, allowing for remote operation and optimization of the HVAC.
